Ray “Mr. Swiftie” Castro is a diehard Swiftie, who is a solo acoustic performer that covers a wide variety of hits from the 80s/90s/2000s, along with a healthy dose of Taylor Swift covers.

He has been playing guitar since the late 80s, played in a popular local cover band, and now he is bringing solo acoustic performances to venues in the MD/DC/VA area.

Ray is a former CPA. He eventually reached an existential crisis because that life left him feeling empty, and doing that kind of work made his life feel meaningless. So, after almost 20 years as an accountant, he decided to make a change and went all in on his passions. He changed careers to pursue his passion for fitness, and built a successful personal training business - RPC Fitness. He was also a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and was co-founder of a BJJ Academy where he served as head instructor. When his passion for BJJ started to wane, he rediscovered his passion for music.
